How to play Gonzo’s Quest
The game is played on 5 reels, with 20 paylines. Symbols include stone animals, such as the snake, bird, alligator, and fish symbols, plus fire, moon, and health symbols, with the latter giving you the highest rewards. The question mark Wild replaces all symbols. Gonzo’s Quest was the first ever game to feature cascading symbols instead of a reel spin. Symbols cascade down the reels, and whenever a winning combination is formed, the winning symbols disappear to make way for more symbols and the chance for additional wins from the spin. This is the so-called Avalanche feature (sometimes also known as tumbling reels).
Extra features
With each new Avalanche (win), the Avalanche Multiplier feature comes into play. Each subsequent avalanche, when yet another winning combination is formed, the multiplier increases, up to 5x your stake. Watch out for the Free Fall symbol – 3 of them will trigger 10 Free Falls, which can award multipliers between 3x and 15x your stake thanks to the Avalanche Multiplier in Free Fall mode.
